The rack end safety barrier is a low cost derivative of the A Fax Traffic Barrier and is designed specifically to provide effective impact protection for racking systems used in the warehouse, distribution and logistics industries.
This safety barrier is supplied as a single piece unit, the barrier is available in three standard length ranges, seven hundred and fifty millimetre to one thousand and ninety nine millimetres, one thousand one hundred to seventeen hundred and eighteen to two thousand five hundred millimetres and is suitable for use with most standard racking systems.
When installed, these safety barriers have no direct contact with the racking for which it is providing impact protection. As such the force of an impact on the barrier cannot be transmitted to the racking, ensuring the rack ends are effectively totally protected from impact damage.
Unlike barriers made from steel or other metals, being manufactured from polypropylene the IntaLock safety barrier units has and inherent flexibility on impact whilst also having the strength to withstand high impact loading. This flexibility means that rather than being permanently deformed or destroyed by an impact the barrier absorbs impact buy bending before returning to its original shape and form.
This provides a major reduction in the cost of the safety barrier repair and replacement over the lifetime of a modern facility.
