Bolt and forged cone in one piece, cold formed with bolt expansion element. The sleeve is thick walled giving high expansion reserves.
When sunk into concrete that has 'gone off' for at least 28 days, the permitted load in uncracked concrete for the BoA-K wedge bolt ranges from 3.0kN for Grade B 15 concrete to 7.75kN for Grade B 35 concrete.
Operation
On tightening, the fixed cone is pulled into the thick walled expansion sleeve. This expands and is pressed against the side walls of the hole. The result is power controlled mechanical anchoring by friction grip.
Advantages
• Applying the tightening torque is • enough to secure the fixing
• Drill through and drop-in • installation
• High bending moments due to a • solid bolt. Especially suitable for • projecting bolt applications
• Better support of shear loads
Fixing Nut Cap Covers
Supplied in black the nut cover caps are manufactured from low pressure polyethylene and show good chemical resistance to petrol, mineral and vegetable oils, alkalis and weak acids. Because of its flexibility the nut cover is virtually unbreakable and does not take in moisture.
