A-Fax submit Pedestrian Barrier for Plastic Industry Awards Industrial Product Design of the Year

Since its introduction, the 3 rail Pedestrian IntaLockBarrier™ System has been so well received in its intended marketplace that A-Fax Ltd have decided to back the positive feedback and reaction of their customers regarding the product by submitting it for the Industrial Product Design of the year Award at the 2004 Plastic Industry Awards.
Some of the comments that prompted this decision were "It is an unusual product, in as much as it does what its technical literature says it will!! We have found it easy to install, it looks the part and requires no maintenance", "We can easily replace it to suit any situation or site update and it has already been used to great effect as a vehicle reversed into a section of barrier with no damage caused to the vehicle or barrier due to the forgiving 'flexible' nature of your product. An excellent and effective product!".
The major feature of the barrier is that whilst being manufactured from plastic it is the material itself that gives the barrier its 'flexibility, strength, durability and effectiveness.
As pictured the materials ' flexibility' means that on impact the barrier will bend rather than distort or break before returning to its original form and shape. This removes the need for costly repair or replacement after every impact.
