developed and patented by A-Fax Ltd, meaning the modular components are joined together without the use of nails, screws, brackets or metal straps.
1750mm long rails are locked into place to a top of rail height of 600mm between two post modules spaced on 2000mm centres. As with conventional materials the fence posts are supplied such that a third of their length is sunk into the ground for installation.
The fencing offers the major benefit of inherent resistance to weather and environmental conditions thus removing the need for periodic treatment or maintenance. In addition the fencing will not rot or rust, extending lifetime and effectively reducing maintenance costs to near zero.
Being manufactured from recycled plastic, a significant environmental advantage is derived from the forgiving nature of the material itself. The material bends rather than breaking or buckling, has no sharp edges, will not splinter and contains no metal parts reducing the risk of injury due to contact or impact with the fencing.
Comparably priced with traditional materials the fencing offers reduced installation and maintenance costs and is also manufactured from totally recycled material. |
